You could tissue it clean or if you are able clean up the front with c22 and new table but thats tricky in a mirror for me at least or cotton bud dipped in alcohol.

2-3 mm behind the lace? I would be walking around with a lifted hairline then. How is that possible?
I'm cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol now. It's pretty good. Do you think c22 is better? I've heard people also use just olive oil.
