Repairing scars from old transplant surgery
|
| |
Question:
I would like to like to know what options (if any)
are available for repairing and diminishing hair
transplant scars.
I have three types. On the crown, I have 100 plugs
that did not "take" therefore leaving
white circular scars, I call them "white caps".
In the middle of the scalp, I have 100 "punch"
holes, I called them "craters". And in
the front, there is 100 raised plugs, "cobblestones".
I can not wear a hair piece so I must always wear
a ball cap. |

| Answer:
The cobblestone pattern may be improved with an
Erbium or CO2 laser. I have nothing that would improve
the other scars. Sounds like you had the worst case
scenario-large hair grafts transferred with too
much (any) scalp skin. |
